Two Saturdays ago, the Outliers rode the full length of the Watarase Ravine/Valley Railway (渡良瀬渓谷鉄道) in order to hike to the headwaters of the Watarase River (渡良瀬川).

PASMO is a rechargeable smart card ticketing system based on RFID technology developed by Sony's FeliCa. It will be available as a credit-card sized card as well as a service for mobile phone equipped with FeliCa chips.

A new IC card that can be used for most train, subway and bus lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area will debut March 18. Pasmo can be used interchangeably with the Suica card of East Japan Railway Co.
